sometimes, two beers into the night, it's better to cut your losses. sometimes the silence around my head is preferable to the noise inside it. sometimes absence is the same as presence. sometimes an imagined future is not so far from a hated past. sometimes x makes sense and sometimes i can't help but find y fascinating. sometimes i want physical distance and sometimes emotional distance is enough. sometimes i fall asleep lonely and sometimes i fall asleep drunk.
